As a social scientist I have mastered the craft of sampling a population and then drawing inferences from those samples. Surveys are a garbage in garbage out type of process. Just asking someone to fill out a satisfaction form at the counter is probably not going to give you the information you were looking for. We follow strict scientific principles with any survey we conduct. Besides insuring accurate , valid results, this also means we can use relatively small sample sizes to answer the most organizational or strategic research questions.
